Hey everyone! Sorry it's been so long! Its the last few weeks of summer and I've been doing as much as I can to fill it up! Anyways, last night I was on the computer looking up creative pictures and I've noticed that more and more people have been making pictures that are funny and interesting quotes made into a kind of photograph. They are really cool and kind have started popping up a lot. Anyways, I found some really cool ones that I'd like to share with you guys. I think they show the power of words. Words can mean something totally different to each person, and they can bring around certain emotions and feelings. Its pretty amazing if you think about it! Anyways, hope you guys enjoy the pics!

Le Quatrième

Hey guys! Well the idea for this next post just came to me in this spark of inspiration! All day today, I've been listening to music, which is new. Usually I get bored with music after long periods of time, but not today.

I also found my true love today. I guess I can tell you. PANDORA!! I am seriously in love with Pandora. I love Alternative music, so all I have to do is go on there, look up an artist I like or a genre, press create station and vuaola!! Today it brought up a new artist I'd never heard of. His name is Ray LaMontagne, and so far I love every single one of his songs. And I love Pandora like I said. Everyone needs to use it, because it can lead you to discovering a ton of artists you never even knew existed.

Another one of my favorite bands/ artists are Foster the People. You guys have probably heard their song Pumped Up Kicks, because its all over the radio and for a good reason; Its awesome!! So check out their album Torches! Every song is amazing.

Anyways, I just want to dedicate this post to all the artists I love! The world wouldn't be as perfect of a place without music in it!

Hey guys! Sorry its been so long! I just got back from an amazing white water rafting trip with a few of my close friends in Moab, Utah. It was really an great experience for me, and Moab is really the best place to do pretty much any outdoor sport. Here's a list of things I've discovered you can do in Moab: mountain bike (that's my kind of sport) rock climbing, rafting, fishing, hiking...the possibilities are pretty much endless!  Anyways, if  you have ever been, you know that it is an amazing place, and also, the rocks are a gorgeous red color. All of the surrounding area is brilliantly red and beautiful. If you haven't ever been, put it on your bucket list of things to do! 
But then once I got back to reality, I had to go to work. The place where I work, I put labels on the company's bottles of tye-dye. It sounds like such an important job, doesn't it? (Not really, actually not at all) But still, I love working there. The tye-dye is made in almost every color imaginable, so that gave me the idea of my next post's topic: COLOR!!
If you can, close your eyes and imagine the world with no color. A black, white and grey place. It makes me shiver just thinking about  it! I love how color is a physical, solid thing, but you can also use the word of the color to describe things you wouldn't know how to describe otherwise. Color enriches the physical world, and also the written world, and the world of our thoughts. One of my favorite quotes is by Marcus Aurelius. He said, "The soul becomes dyed with the color of its thoughts."

Deuxième

So, this is my second post. After tackling a monstrous vine that had grown all the way up a pine tree outside my house, I feel obliged to tell you that I hate yard work. But, after that bad experience, I sat down to watch the TV show Pretty Little Liars. It got me thinking about cute clothes, and how the characters always look so put together. Of course that's probably because they have a team of wardrobe people who pick out everything they wear, but it's not as hard as it sounds putting together very cute outfits. Here are some pictures of some outfits I ADORE, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't afford half of them! These pictures are from a website called www.weheartit.com. La Première

Well this is my first post, the first, my La Première as the title says. I mainly created this blog because I would always find the cutest blog spots/websites, full of vintage, grunge, urban pictures, ideas, and a sense of a hidden and mysterious world, so close to the world the rest of us live in. Its a like a foreign sense of things. We love to look at it from the outside, look at the shiny wrapping paper and pink rosy bows, but we never touch, we never reach out to unwrap those presents. These places gave me inspiration to do some of my own photographs, share my ideas about this otherworldly place, like those ones I so admired. And so, this is my blog. This is a glimpse into My World in Kaleidoscope Colors. I hope you guys enjoy it immensely, and I hope it opens your eyes to the world around you in whole new way!
